Mosquito Rasbora
Boraras Brigittae
The Mosquito Rasbora can be a great little commuity fish, however due to their very small size they can be mistaken for food so other tank mates should be of a similar size.
Current Size – 1cm
Adult Length – 2cm
Temperature Range – 20 – 28 °C
pH Range – 4.0 – 7.0
Special Requirements - No special requirements, providing you take into account their small stature. They are a shoaling fish, so should ideally be kept in numbers of 8 or more.
Tanks Mates and Compatibility - These little Rasbora are a perfect accompaniment for Shrimps and other small tetra.

Feeding - In the aquarium it will accept dried foods of a suitable size but should not be fed these exclusively. Daily meals of small live and frozen fare such as Daphnia, Artemia and suchlike will result in the best colouration and encourage the fish to come into breeding condition.
Please note – Some images used are library photos and will show the colour potential at a fully mature size, as our fish are juveniles they may vary.
We always aim to supply the fish as close to the purchase size as possible. On rare occasions if this is not possible we will contact you.
The fish are selected at random however you are welcome to make a note on the order and the fish manager will do his best for you, requests are dependent on stock at the time of your order.
