Mollies are a livebearer, from the same family as Guppies, Swordtails and Platys. They remain fairly small, are colourful, hardy and excellent tank mates.
Mollies are capable of living in salty water and often thrive with a little salt added to their environment.
They are an easy fish to keep in a community tank and ideal for beginners. The tank should be well planted, with open swimming areas.

pH Range – 6.5 – 8.0
Special Requirements – They thrive in 5g of salt/gallon of water is added to the tank.
Tanks Mates and Compatibility - Mollies can be good tank mates in a community setup. However, if you are adding salt to the tank (which is advisable with Mollies), then this should be taken into account when choosing tank mates.
Feeding - They are an omnivores and should be fed a good quality varied died that includes crushed flake and live or frozen food as well as Algae-based food.

The fish are selected at random however you are welcome to make a note on the order and the fish manager will do his best for you. This is dependent on current stock at the time of your order.
